This uniform policy is just another way for them to make money, which i doubt is going to put back into the education system anyway. They say uniforms will instill a sense of pride in our school...how will uniforms give us pride when we sit in an over crowded school that looks like a jail learning from ten year old ripped up school books. Our bathroom stalls come to our waist, and parts or the school are molding...Now how about they do something to fix this, then caroline wouldn't have such a bad rep. Because Carolines rep isn't that we are violent its that we are poor and cant do nothing about so therfore we are dumb. And as bullying goes, that's gonna happen either way i hate to say it and i dont support it but cliques are inevitable..take a girl for instance who struggled with finding herself for many years and then she found out how to express herbself through her clothes are you going to take that away from her?? I really hope one of those board members will take the time to read how blind they are...bottom line is if we get uniforms im transferring to spotsy.

I do not support this. Kids need to be kids and express their self through hair clothes and education. They already have to get ready for life after schools with all the rules of everyday life. Kids wearing uniforms is not going to cut back on violence, gangs or theft. The only thing this is going to do is cause more kids not to finish school. If the schools would take control and have more security and traing for the employee staff these things can be stooped instead the children have to pay. I keep hearing uniforms will make Caroline County Schools look better, Who cares how we look a long as out Kids are getting an eduacation. I think if they focused more on possitive things in school for the students than taking from student you will have more that would enjoy school and want to go and that would also cut back on violence. It is not what you wear or how you wear you hair it is how you present youself and in order to present yourself in a possitive way you have to be happy with your surroundings no matter where you are.,school, work home ect... and making kids wear unirforms is going to cause allot of them to not want to go to school.

If we have to wear uniforms, I'm not going to school anymore. I'll be homeschooled. How ON EARTH will uniforms be "decreasing violence, gangs and theft, instilling students with discipline, helping concentration, reducing peer pressure and allowing the administration to easier identify intruders"?! Uh... They won't be. I will NOT wear a uniform. Ever. How can people support this?!?!
