I ran for office in local government when I was in my mid 30s (I now call that young) I was elected and got the best civics education available to anyone. (even though I didn't think I needed one). Young people should run for office at the local level so they can serve alongside seasoned servants and gain experience. No one is qualified for office until they have held office and proven themselves capable.

I would like to see more middle aged business people getting involved in government. Their history should be looked at closely. Who are they tied to in business? What are their motives ? Kelly A. spoke at cpac yesterday and said regulations are strangling small business. This is something that needs to be looked very closely. We need to learn from our past. In particular the last 30 years and the break down of regulations that ultimatly destroyed markets around the world. Power and money fuel greed in human beings. This is the main reason regulations need to be in place. Look at the people that have been around the last few presidents and are still there currently. First thing is companies should not be allowed to grow to a point that they are to big to fail. One thing that could be part of regulations is if a company reports a certain level of profits, 90% of those profits should go to share holders.
