"The Amazing Race" goes to Vietnam -- was the show's setting in bad taste? (After you share your feelings, please tell us whether you watch the show or not.)
"The Amazing Race" did nothing wrong by going to Vietnam. There's no reason a reality show can't show a little reality now and then.
It doesn't bother me that the show went to Vietnam, or that it showed the communist musical number, but using the downed B-52 as a backdrop was tacky.
The show shouldn't have aired the musical number, even if they thought it was just funny, and using the war memorial as a backdrop was seriously disrespectful to American losses.
The show shouldn't have gone to Vietnam, shouldn't have aired commie propaganda, and the use of the memorial as a backdrop was an outrage. Somebody needs to apologize.
I've been watching this season of "The Amazing Race."
I have not been watching this season of "The Amazing Race."
