As a federal employee and the bread winner of my household my family is facing difficult times. With three children, a wife in college, house payment and other financial commitments we are looking at a disaster approaching rather quickly. The direct impact of losing 20% of my pay would devastate everything we've worked hard to achieve. We do not live out if our means and have only what we need. Ny finances are not the only thing that would be impacted by the possible furlough. The agency I work for directly deals with the men and woman over seas. We supply them with the parts they need to complete the mission and protect our way of life. Those soldiers will not get the level of service they need or the support required. Our politicians need to fix this issue without making their work horse pay for their mistakes.
