How should the state close a $1.3 billion shortfall and fund education?
Raise revenue through closing loopholes and/or extending soon-to-be-expired taxes.
No need to raise or extend taxes. Cut spending.
Prioritize spending. Fund education first, then consider other areas of the budget like social services.
Take a balanced approach that includes a combination of spending cuts and revenue enhancements.
Honestly, I haven't paid much attention to the Legislature.
