It was a tough choice but I had to recall a line from Bull Durham..."A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while." Sums up baseball.
Tough choice but have to go with For The Love of The Game.
Sandlot is pure. Baseball as it should be, kids having fun, getting dirty & being kids.
I have high hopes for "42". While I love Jay-Z, I'm not certain I like the songs for the promos. Just doesn't seem to fit the time period.
Thoroughly disappointed that neither Major League II or Major League III made the list. Also, Basketball should get an honorable mention.
