Come to Poulsbo, Washington and visit the Greenlight Diner.
Poulsbo is a quaint Viking town located across the sound from Seattle.
The Green Light Diner aims to pay homage to the roots of Historic Poulsbo & the American dining scene by rekindling the spirit of the classic diner. Serving quality, simple meals complete with a vintage soda fountain and cocktails.
Some specialties are The Hungry Viking golden hashbrowns & a buttermilk biscuit topped w/ sausage gravy, a grilled
ham steak, a pair of fried eggs*, & shredded cheddar, flanked by 2 strips bacon
The Kon-Tiki Traveler A 2 egg* scramble w/ roasted potatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms,
bacon, SPAM, sausage and cheddar on a waffle raft with sausage gravy
    and my favorite
The Hawk’s Nest chopped bacon, sauteed spinach and tomatoes nestled in a crispy hashbrown
nest and topped with 2 poached eggs* and bearnaise sauce. Comes with toast.
    and
Corned Beef Hash our house-made, slow roasted corned beef, chopped and grilled with roasted
potatoes. Topped with 2 eggs* to order & comes with toast.

The corned beef hash is made in-house and so so delishes.
They even have gluten-free pancakes and toast.

808 GRINDZ Cafe in Maui (Lahaina). Fabulous “dive” for breakfast. Line forms early in the A.M. because it’s a small place but SOOOOOO worth the wait. Extensive menu with MANY choices. Generous portions for reasonable prices. REALLY good macademia nut pancakes, too. We visit Maui every January for the month and never miss a few breakfasts at 808 GRINDZ. The service is as good as the food. Trust me, Guy, you’ll love it!

Guy would LOVE to visit New Iberia, Louisiana. We have wonderful seafood here. Everyone loves the overstuffed shrimp po-boys at Bon Creole on St. Peter Street. Cafe Jefferson at Rip Van Winkle Gardens serves awesome seafood dishes amid a beautiful view of the lake and garden. Since we have a fairly large Asian population, we have some really good Asian restaurants, including Pearl House (fresh, made-to-order sushi, hibachi) on Admiral Doyle Drive, and Pho Ly Ly on South Lewis Street, which serves delicious Thai food. The most popular restaurant in the city is Janes Seafood and Chinese on Jane Street. Here you can have the best of both worlds, or cuisines. The chargrilled oysters are the best you will taste anywhere! Janes serves shrimp, crabs, crawfish, oysters, and catfish, as well as great Chinese dishes. There are many more restaurants worthy of tasting. If you would like more information, please allow me to provide that to you.

Houston, Texas. You've been here before with Cafe Pita+ a few years ago, but I have a burger spot here in Katy, TX called Joy Love Burgers (N. Mason Rd.) with the best 100% Angus burgers you have had in awhile I guarantee you! The singles are at least half a pound, with lots of flavor! I'm telling you, check this spot out.

You have GOT TO (If you haven't already) visit The Vortex in Atlanta, Georgia. I believe they have two locations and I have only visited the one in Little Five Points. It is a burger joint where they have some of the most original and tasty burgers. You have got to try the Fat Elvis and of course one of their famous Bypass Burgers!!!!!!!!! The staff is unlike anything I have ever experienced and so is their menu (Sooooo FUNNY!!). The atmosphere is very unique and is worth checking out. It is the place I send anyone who asks for a fun, unique, and delicious dining experience. Hope to see Triple D in Georgia soon!

I live in Columbus, Ga - site of the last battle of the Civil War, 100 miles south of Atlanta. We sit at the fall of the Chattahoochee River and have several landmark eateries that I'm certain Guy would love.

Our famous bar-b-que place is Country's Bar-B-Que (706) 596-8910) http://www.countrysbarbecue.com/. They have three locations, one of which is downtown in the historic district in the former 1930s Greyhound bus station.

For local "soul food", there is the Royal Cafe: (600 11th St, Columbus, GA 31901 706.322.9149), where you'll get good food made with lots of lovin'.

Then for our locally famous "scramble dog", there is Dinglewood Pharmacy (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dinglewood-Pharmacy/196266663758734). It was the "main drag's" soda fountain, "back in the day".

I'd like to invite you to Columbus, Ga to sample the many fares that make us such a special place in Georgia. Hope ya'll come enjoy some Southern hospitality soon.

Sweet n Savory Cafe in Wilmington, NC is by far the best lunch spot that I have enjoyed since moving to Wilmington 3 years ago. It doesn't matter if its a sunny spot outside or inside surrounded by the vibrant colorful murals, the food is so good that you can't help but to fall in love with the place and come back over and over and over again. Just a word of advice, though, once you have devoured the savory and have started planning your next visit, don't forget to leave room to indulge on the decadent sweets too.
