Obama is such a stupid person. and this country is going along with his BS. WHY??????? Why are people so stupid to believe in such an ignorant person???? He is destoying this country and setting us up for bad things, like, other countries taking us over. When are WE, The Normal People going to get some brains and DO something??? I am so tired of hearing this Stupid N%^&* say things that are a bunch of lies and nobody does anything. Why doesn't somebody do something to get rid of him???????

The question is moot. There's NOTHING Obama "should have done." Every occur to anyone that he agrees with what the minister was saying? I agree with it, however, I don't think a sermon on Easter Sunday was an appropriate place to express that particular (political) idea. If you disagree with the preaching in a particular church, you go look for a DIFFERENT church.

The "churches" of Rev. leon and wright need to lose their tax exempt status! This being a government function, hell will surely freeze over before it happens...

These are offensive statements that most people would not want their children to hear even if they could withstand it themselves. I have walked out of these types of sermons with my children in tow many times. It is no surprise that POTUS would not walk out. After all he stayed in Rev. Wright's church for 20 years and listened to that type of rhetoric continuously. This sermon was low key compared to most of Rev. Wright's sermons. I don't think the Easter holiday meant very much to the Obamas. Attendence was more ceremonial because it was "expected". The man NEVER says God Bless You.

None of the choices is appropriate. He attended the church of Jeremiah Wright and heard the same claptrap for twenty years. If he said nothing to reverend wright in all those 20 years I wouldn't expect him to say anything to this reverend. I wouldn't expect him to walk out but that would be the appropriate thing to do. I would not expect him to say something at a later date because everything this reverend says he agrees with. What I would have expected him to do is say hallelujah after every statement the reverend spoke on Sunday. It is a national disgrace to have a man of the cloth such as that man preaching hate in a church that is supposed to be the church that the president of the United States customarily attends. Every American should be appalled that this is the kind of rhetoric that we should be exposed to coming out of the mouth of a man of the cloth. I am Jewish and I am incensed that this should be allowed to continue in our nations capital. If I were president I would demand an immediate apology and then I would ask him to step down and if not I would refuse to attend services in that church for the rest of my term in office and I would encourage all parishioners of that church to do the same. Our nation cannot tolerate such kind of language and such kind of behavior under any circumstances. I would also demand that he be forbidden to preach in any other church of that denomination until he has shown remorse for what he has said and apologized in public and has promised never again to preach such hate in any congregation for the remainder of his days.

President Obama, is not a leader he just follows the left and liberals at what ever they say, he is a Muslum thur and thur. all the other comments above are right on, except the one that sound like a liberal as he dose go to church, so he is not a muslum. you people need to dig deeper into Obamas backgrand. Why dose he say he is black when 1/2 is white.

Easter is the Most Holy time of the year when we as Christians celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. It is shocking that a man who is suppose to be telling this Great News is actually using the pulpit for political purposes, and that the President of the nation founded on Christianity would sit through the service and be smiling afterwards

President Obama was just a guest at the church. Oh by the way Foxnews and followers at now belief that he goes to church and not a Muslim.

A REAL President would have sat, listened, and as soon as possible, within 3 hours, hold a Press Conference telling the American Public what he would rather have heard in an Easter Sunday serman. But then, we don't even know if he is Protestant. Is he muslim?

  • jeanee cates - 11 years ago

The president probably agrees with this pastor. Why else would he sit through that, and not denounce what this man has said.

The President seems to approve or he would not have had such a big grin on his face upon leaving the church. I hope he went home and talked to his daughters about laws concerning church and state.

Sadly not all preachers/priest are men of God, nor do they carry his message.
