As a 40 + year police veteran ,a 15 year Chief of Police, I think it is absolutely appalling what our supposedly "employees" of the taxpayers of California are doing to their "employers"!!!
Every mugger, burglar and drug addict is going to have an absolute field day committing crimes against citizens who have no means to protect themselves or their loved ones.
Gun owners who are currently within the law will become criminals without committing an overt crime.
None of this would be necessary if the laws that are presently on the books were enforced , prosecuted, and sentencing was strict enough to make the criminals take notice. None of the new laws will affect criminals committing serious crimes because they will not pay any attention to them. This is so simple that a 3rd grade child would understand . I guess when you obtain a law degree or get elected to public office common sense goes by the wayside.
God bless any politician who fights against the cowardly laws and any law enforcement official who refuses to enforce laws that are in violation of the 2nd Amendment.
I would hope that they will be overturned by the Supreme Court , but , look who appoints them. I guess our best hope is that the American voter will realize the error of his way last November and vote out each and every politician who is idiot enough to pass the laws.
