Bars and restaurants are upset about a new licensing fee, which they say amounts to a tax grab. Thoughts?

They've had it good; we were the only province without such a fee until now

Looks like a tax grab to me; the government pulled this out of the hat with no consultation

I don't like the NLC's hardball tactics, especially a threat to pull licences in just a few months

I'm not too worried; the bars will adapt by passing costs along to the consumer
