How can a 2% cut bring about 30% of patients not receiving treatment. The numbers don't add up. Sounds more like sequester "pain" that Obuma was going to extract on the people. How about the yearly increase from year to year being like 5%. The numbers don't add up. Money has to be there for people to get treatment.

I'm 79 years old and it never occurred to me that our government would be so cruel. How did this happen? Is there anyone out there that can help us? Shades of Hitler, eh? So very sad. I know that the republicans are not angels. However, they cannot put a gun to the Prez's head. Remember, they offered him flexibility on the sequester cuts so as to cut the least important things such as conferences, ineffective programs, duplications, ect. The Prez refused to take that option. Everyone knows that the reason was political. He wanted as much visable pain as possible hopping that the Republicans would be blamed. His goal to hurt as many and as painful as he could has been accomplished. If you blame the republicans, you obviously don't pay attention to the daily smoke and mirrors that this Prez so artfully projects. The other problem is that Congress can go back to Washington but for what? Everytime the Republicans pass a bill, (over 25 now), Harry Reid tables the bill and won't even debate them. Like I said, Repubs aren't angels but Harry Reid and especially Obama are just the opposite.

On Monday get into your car and pay your local idiot's office a visit and use terms that make him or her understand their future in politics is going to be very short lived. An administration that blackmails and holds any segment of the population hostage to get their way is childish, and flatly evil. they so need to be gone. You have a mouth, a phone and a voice. Just to be sure everyone understands, the 716 BILLION that Obama/Sebelius took from Medicare was DOUBLE COUNTED (Enron-style). When they claim that they "extended" the life of Medicare, they are counting the 716 Billion in that. THEY ALSO ARE COUNTING IT AGAINST THE COST OF OBAMACARE. Can't do double counting. Just a piece of how dishonest this whole thing is. Lots of game playing going on.

They pass something for the sake of getting it done and do not know anything about what it will cost and it will work. We need a better system, but why not start with the waste and fraud. This bill will add so many IRS Agents and Navigators, that that in itself will goes billions of dollars.
This President and his Democratic Senate had better get their rear ends back to Washington and stop this disaster NOW! I would double-check Ted Okon as I suspect he is on Obama's side. The 2% cut should not have an effect since the cut is on an increase anyway. I also suspect that this cut is just like cutting out the WH tours. I would certainly check out Ted Okon's alliances.
While it is a no-brainer that these politicians are doing a poor job and should return to rectify this, "we the people" can still rally together as a community to help one another. A group of politicians will never do it for us. A group of women in my community joined me in 2005 and we have helped over 250 women with cancer and other health issues. Some of the "deserved" angry energy most of us feel could be used as fuel to help ourselves and our own communities.

Yes, they must come back and do their job. I do not have cancer but I go to the cancer center to get infusions for a blood problem. I go there tomorrow for my next infusion. I do not know what I will face. Will it be denied. If so I will be in trouble.
I was in medical management for 24 years and am now retired. I have watched the Government ruimed has ruined the system, that was never that broken. All it has done is drive up the cost of medicine, made Doctors say that "it's just not fun anymore to practice medicine." Doctors are being penalized on their fees to the point there is noadvantage to continue to practice. Just get ahold of some Medicare Explanation of Benifits and see the gravity of the situation. I watch mine and quite frankly feel embarassed what their fees are being cut. It has to be impossible for Doctor's and Clinics to budget. And it just gets worst each day now. More cuts, more regulation. It is a disgrace. The Government has no business being involved in medicine, at least to the extent they are now. I could go on and on but won't.

The President took over 700 billion dollars out of Medicare to start with just to get this monstrosity started! I'm sure that has a big impact on the cancer treatments too. We need to get rid of this stupid Obamacare and instead work on reforming laws to limit Doctors and hospitals from charging three times as much for insurance policyholders. A "private pay" patient pays much less.
