I cannot believe we are even asking this question. The basis for the election of any public official is rooted in what our founding Father endured to give us the U.S. Constitution. I believe that All individuals representing the public SHOULD be elected. Just because there are races that have only candidate, does not say we should get rid of the election. Reducing the number of elected officials is giving AWAY OUR FREEDOM to choose who represents us.
