Sure, if you think the encode will benefit from it.
Do you really need to label your releases 444p? having 10bit in the name should do it.
I for one really don't mind what you put in the name, but it could make the normal user confused.

Yes. And I'm hoping that you'll start using HEVC/h265 when a good encoder (read: x265) becomes available as well!

Love your 720p releases, but 1GB for a 720p seriously is a bit much!
A 300MB 720p (and maybe a 150MB 480p) release would be nice, now i have to re-encode all.
I re-encode them in about 3 hours with Handbreak, and i really cant tell any difference!

Voted NO. Reason: Better do the standard formats right (10-bit, 8-bit 1080p and 720p) than introducing another one with little advantages and spreading yourselves too thin.
@returnity Guilty Crown had the same settings, just a different profile (hi444pp). For mondaiji I'll V2 the first 4 eps, and i'll provide V2 Patches for them also for the people who already dled them.
Yes... IF the source warrants the High 444 Predictive Profile only... Otherwise, it's no better than regular 720p or 1080p upscales. But if the chroma/luma resolution is there, hell yeah. The Guilty Crown screencompare really impressed me with the difference, assuming all your other settings and tweaks were the same besides the change in encoding profile.
Side note: Mondaiji-tachi [Commie] TV batch with v2 scripts for nearly all episodes is up on Nyaa now, Nub_Nubs... what's the game plan for BD Vol.01-02 you've already released? Just easy script patches?

For those who are interested, ive tried the Hi444pp on a Macbook late 2008 model and everything runs just fine (everything up to now anyways)
Oh GOD yes,
Hi10p and X265 when available

@Ikaros000
I don't have a mac so i don't know, you'll have to test it out yourself.
Will there be any issues playing the files on a Macbook as a result?
10-Bits + 1080p are the most important
and I'don't care if it was Hi444pp or not
