Do it! Shame them! Seriously. We take DWIs WAY too lightly. If someone's "life is ruined," all they have to do is provide documentation that the charges were dropped and why.
Enough already. How many more innocent sober drivers' lives have to be ruined by irresponsible people?

If there going to include the names of the "Alleged Offender" then why not just have a sentencing hearing right away because they have already been deemed guilty. Failing a field sobriety test does not make a person automatically guilty. There have been several cases where the driver failed the test due to the officer not conducting it properly or they fail a breath test because of a faulty analyzer or again user error.
When they do post an innocent persons name and that causes them to lose there job, social status, family, and friends or anything else' there life is ruined.
Now think about it happening to you because the wind caught your vehicle causing it to swerve a little now your being pulled over and they automatically assume your drunk before they even get out of there squad car. They come up to your window and the moment you say a word they got you out of the vehicle and there testing you, because you never could get rid of your speech impairment you had since child hood.
So there you go Scott you just shamed an innocent person gave them your "Scarlet Letter" because you enjoy seeing people during there worst moments by spending time looking at mug shots.

Matt, I disagree entirely! How about lives ruined because someone is selfish enough to get into a car under the influence of Drugs (prescription or not) or alcohol and ends up KILLING an innocent family member?

The idea of this is to give these folks a "Scarlet Letter" so the community at large and their family members can chastise the offenders to hopefully get them to think about what they are risking by their actions. Boo-hoo to embarrassment or God forbid, they lose their job for a CHOICE they made!

SHAME is the Name of the Game, here. However I do enjoy looking at their mugshots!

As we supposedly have an "innocent until proven guilty" legal system, absolutely not.

In this internet age a persons life could be ruined because they took a doctor prescribed medication and failed a field sobriety test.
