Can we really name two buddies that played off each other better than Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in Step Brothers? One of the funniest, most quotable movies ever!

I liked "Butch and Sundance" because they stayed together to the death. But my all-time favorite buddy movie that you neglected to list will always be "Gunga Din" (1939). Now they were buddies who went through pure friendship. As Sgt. Ballentine (Doug Fairbanks, Jr) says before going to rescue Sgt. Cutter (Cary Grant): "But I have to go. He saved my life time and time again." Now that's real FRIENDSHIP!

Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau starred in "The Odd Couple" feature film, not Tony Randall and Jack Klugman, costars of the hit TV series.
