This is the most ridiculous poll. Every time I voted for Philip Phillips, his percentage went down. No amount of voting raised his numbers.

David Cook is the top American Idol of all time, He has the voice, can play instrumenta and writes his own music. He also does many charities events and he is great with his fans. His lastest sing "Laying Me Low " is fantastic. I do wonder why Ryan Seacrest does not play his music?
I have tried to vote every day this May and have never been able to on this site. Also, the percentages have never changed from day to day. Are we not supposed to vote for Phillip Phillips ????????????

correction! scotty mccreery and philip philips won not just because of their looks.. it's b'coz they had a talent... a pure talent.. simplest but powerful ... and the other idol's.. sounds the same! Love #countrymusic!!!... :) and why kris allen.. i think it should be adam lambert .. :P

I voted for Carrie Underwood. Kelly Clarkson is also amazing.. they are both very very visible still in the music industry... there are a few on this list that I never hear anything about since their winning.. Taylor Hicks.. while he was a pretty good winner.. I don't see that he did anything outstanding to stay in the lime light...

Kris Allen is my all around favorite, Kelly is my other favorite (trying to get concert tickets), and close behind is Carrie. Kris is that gem in a pocket that not everyone knows about. Thank You Camellia is a really great album, puts on one of the best live shows, great musician & vocalist, and funny/humble/caring person. My favorites tend to have an element of humbleness to them :)

I voted for Kelly Clarkson, but it was a really hard choice between her, Phillip and David Cook! I love all three of them! I think it's funny that Ruben is in last place. The only reason he won is because he was from Alabama, and EVERYONE knows that Alabama rallies behind their contestants. (I can say that because I, not only live Alabama but I, live about 5 minutes from where Ruben grew up.)

Cant believe someone says Phillip won because his boyish look and he's Christian, the silliest comment ever! If you say so, few winners before him have good looking too IMO. I like almost all idols, they have great career and music, but some of them i never heard their song. But my fav ever is the one and only Phillip Phillips. And FYI i'm not Christian.

My favourite idol will be Kris Allen, and I think it will be hard to beat, he just has a special place in my heart I love his music and I think his talent is overlooked by most people. I was SO very excited when he won that season.
Favourite girl idol will be Carrie, she's simply amazing. Love all the idols though, my runner-ups will be Kelly, Phillip, and Jordin

It's difficult to choose just one person. But I went with ... the first , the one and only...Kelly Clarkson. If I could choose more I would also pick.... Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Philip Philips, Kris Allen. Then of course there should be a list of all time favourite contestants! There are so many that did not necessarily win the title but now have these amazing careers. Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry ,Adam Lambert.. etc.
Also, I've always thought that American Idol should have a past idol contestant as a Judge. Adam Lambert would make a great judge.

How many times can you vote per day...anyone know? It will let you vote but it's saying "Thank you your vote has already been counted" when you go back in to vote again. Also, why are percentages dropping even when many people are voting for that person for long periods of time? Hope someone has some answers for me...this is frustrating! Oh...BTW.... VOTE PHILLIP PHILLIP....he's AMAZING!!

No doubt,,Scotty is the best,,can't wait till he's had the 8-10 years behind him that Kelly and Carrie have had...although I don't believe he'll need any where near that long to be number1.....he is already in my book....!!
