When we left Longmont Co,,there were 4 to 500 homeless...now look. Have compassion because it could be any of us at any time. Degree or not, we are all feeling the hard hit of the economy. Give a man a fish and he eats for a day....teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime. What would you want someone to do for you in that situation? I'm shocked that the amount of homeless have increased and so very grieved. Colorado has changed so much....the animals do have more privilege's and rights than a human being....one problem with that is the animals don't pay your taxes or do the jobs needing to be done...humans do.

Homeless services must be located near public transportation hubs. If RTD adds or moves buss services then the services can move. This gives the homeless options. Hunker down or try another town. When a person feels they have no choices, they are more likely to behave desperately. Buses provide options all along the Front Range.

Shame on Longmont, Shame on Boulder County for letting the homeless Sleep in bushes or the old sugar Mill or where ever they can to survive for the day/night.. Cattle are treated better then they are. We in America should be so ashamed. There has to be a place for them to sleep inside such as the Lumber yard that was given to the OUR center. Laying on the floor on a sleeping bag with a bath room to go to would be one answer. How heartless some can be as I am sure that some of these peoples are in need of someone to talk to. Someone to give them the strength to live on as I know jobs are hard to find. I pray for them and I hope that there is an answer to their plight. Amen
