Did "Poor Judgment" of ICE Help Kill Phoenix Officer Daryl Raetz, as John McCain Asserts?
No. The suspect posted bond during immigration proceedings in 2012 for a previous arrest. That's not ICE's fault.
Yes. ICE must not have pressed a case with the judge to keep Cabrera-Molina in custody. If ICE had done more, Raetz would still be alive.
No. Even if Cabrera-Molina had been deported in 2012, he would have soon been back to the United States and possibly committed the same crime of which he's now unofficially accused.
