Would you build a wooden urn or casket to house a friend's remains?

For some time I have been suggesting to my wife that when my time comes for her to go across the border to Naco, Mexico to have a Mexican casket made for me. She's not too enthusiastic about the idea.

As a member of The Tampa Wood Crafter's Club I have built over 20 so far for indigent Veterans.
We sponsor a program to prevent Veterans being buried in cardboard boxes!
Visit Us at "www.tampawoodcrafters.org", for further information.
At present I am building a Double Urn for a friend since first grade and his wife!
I have also built my own final place of rest! A casket shaped Red Cedar Urn!

When my husband died, he asked to be cremated.... I was told I needed to pick an urn or something like it to put his remains in. I looked at all they had available...nothing fit a very simple, country boy, goatfarmer.... ended up asking his best friend, who is old order Mennonite....he made the box. Said it was the last gift he could give his best friend. It's cedar...made of cedar reclaimed from the LaPlata tornadoes...

In fact, one of my early projects was my father's urn.
