Lol the last one... xD sure... I think that she at that moment, will have like a flashback, seeing what she could lose if she said no to castle and says yes. i dont think she will go to DC, because then half of the castle crue will be lost.

This is all just speculation. I know it's hard not to predict outcomes, especially when they just leave us sitting here for three and a half months. I just hope nobody gets there hopes up too high that they're disappointed with the turn-out. That happens a lot with me when I go to a movie for a book I really enjoyed.

Continued-I thought I was under 4,000 characters. ...so she can cover for him(child-care) while he is writing. When a writing session is urgent(you can't schedule ideas), or if they are both out on a case, they could have a full-time nanny/housekeeper/driver(male so it is non-sexist) and several back-ups on call. Or Kate could say she does not want children, or Kate prefers to to adopt and/or foster. What should happen is that they would not get married until there is no threat from her mom's case and there is closure for Kate there. OItherwise that baggage will bleed into her marriage and motherhood. I am(and have been) tired of that storyline anyway. That does not keep me watching. It is the relationships between the characters that does, even if they do not 'hook up'(but I am more interested when they do). Instead, complications could happen periodically from Rick's father's circumstances and past. I do not see why Booth and Brennan can work together and Rick and Kate cannot. Does not ring true. They are essentially in the same circumstances. What would make me stop watching Castle? If she/they follow the same tired, safe prescription from society of the ideal way to live. The other characters should be creative in their arrangements too, in what ever way rings true for their character. Sorry for typos-did not proofread well enough.

I chose A. If we are to believe that she is the best Capt. Montgomery ever trained, and we do not want to be sexist, she will take the job and discover that she doesn't like it for several reasons. ...that she doesn't have enough autonomy, too much posturing and playing politics, feels she is not making the contribution she had hoped, that she cannot trust her co-workers, whatever. But no sexist, 'I miss Rick, what if I lose him completely and miss my chance', crap.

She is not desperate to get married. She is,...'one and done'. (Season 1, episode 9-Little Girl Lost-I think. Where the child was taken by her aunt so the Mom could keep custody and her money.) Her demeanor on the way to talk to him I figured was because she had accepted the position and wanted him to come or fly there on her days off. Nothing is holding him back. I figured that she put the proposal decision off until she could see that it was not motivated by a need to keep her there, and because she knows they both still have issues that need to be resolved before they have the best chance of staying married. I think they could become engaged with no date set so they can 'lock each other down', and feel more secure. At least the proposal let her know that he was seriously in this for the long term and that that is what he wants eventually. Also I see her having at least one child, she she would want to be married.

Eventually they could possibly play it that they get married on an island, secretly, but known to their friends. There was brief speculation that Mick Jaggaer's last marriage wasn't legal because it was on some island and not recognized in the USA. They would be married, and everyone important would know, so who cares about the rest? Unless she became pregnant (or even if she did??). They do not need the other's health insurance and could file single separately. Loss of a tax break for being married is a small price to pay for working together. Just as Gates 'changed her mind' and sees how valuable he is and what a good team they make, so they could eventually get special permission to work together once they get married. Or she could have a newly created position, like consultant, but have most of the same authority. Or Esposito(likely) or Ryan could be promoted to her position and she could be a consultant like Rick. If so, Rick and Kate could do whatever they want. He can afford to support her, but I do not like the idea that her character would be able to accept that. I would go with changing the rules, special permission, or Kate getting a created position that does not have the no relationship rule, the latter being the most desirable one.

I cannot see her saying Yes after she looked sober for several seconds afterwards and then looked down.(But the writers have set us up before-they don't want us to guess the outcome. Otherwise, why tune in?) I think we have a long way to go before they get married. I think there has got to be more growth for each and then more discussions about how it would be if/when they marry.(The proposal nealty leads into those discussions so they can have disagreements, but eventually they decide that being married is worth a compromise where they both win.) That she wants to work, that she(and he-so he can be a different kind of husband/father this time) wants at least one child, that she would still work in some capacity until she was ready to go back full-time, that she would take a less physical job once a mother, but NOT a demotion. She would take a job that was a promotion or make a lateral move. Whatever she does, she would need to be able to pursue developments in her mother's case.

Once they have a child( way down the road), Rick could stay at home full-time(or part-time) and consult or he can come in on the most difficult cases, or she could go part-time and both only work the most difficult cases. She could work mostly at home so she can cover for him while he is w

She has already turned down the offer or she will and she says yes to Castle's proposal. They decide to move in together while Martha helps her plan a small wedding in the Hamptons. She and Castle solve murders while all this is happening.
