What do you think of Sen. Gary Smith's surrogacy parenting bill?
I like it. I think the state is bereft of rules and regulations governing surrogacy and this bill would fix that.
I like it. I think rules and regulations need to be put into place and I also agree that surrogacy should only be open couples married under Louisiana law.
I don't like it. I think the bill is unnecessarily restrictive in that it blocks unmarried partners and same-sex couples from becoming surrogate parents.
I don't like it. I think it provides a financial incentive for women to become "exploitable commodities."
I don't like it. I think surrogacy is "anti-life" because it involves the selective destruction of unnecessary human embryos.
I'm not sure. I'd have to learn more about it.
