Hard to choose one varietal for summer enjoyment. I highly recommend pine ridge Chenin blanc/Viognier at $9.89 when you buy 6 at my store. It strikes that niche somewhere between Chardonnay, sauv blanc, and Riesling.

Novato Safeway never got the Carol Shelton Rendezvous Rose so we went to her tasting room in Santa Rosa. Great experience to go with greater wines. Going to their Luau next month?

I like the French rosés very much, but not the really dry varieties. Most Tavels work very well for me.

dry rose always is my favorite summer wine, even though in Florida, year round is basically summer. I love St. Supery's Rose although it is a splurge for me at $22. Protocolo Rose is a great bargain.
