Rutger Hauer is the best choice here. He's older, has had a long career, and starred in big name films as the hero and the villain. He'd be perfect for a Tarantino vehicle!

There's no doubt, Tarantino is a genius when it comes to screenwriting, directing, picking soundtrack and casting the right actors. Of course I would love him to work with certain actors/actresses, but only Tarantino knows who to pick in order to get the best results and I trust his choices, because most of the times they worked.
Tarantino works best with actors far past their popularity (if they ever had it to begin with) but who are good actors nonetheless. I personally am not a fan of "hot" overexposed "stars". It takes me out of the movie. It makes me feel like I'm looking at a movie star, not a character. Past prime actors who have a built up a little roughness over time--a little slightly unflattering wear around the edges, and who may have gained back some of their anonymity, seem to be some of Tarantino's best pairings. Carridine, Travolta, Michael Parks. Although diCaprio is a fine actor, I think Michael Parks would have been an even better Candle than Leo in Django Unchained.

pssst, where's Tim Roth in the list? :)
wanna see another movie w/ them2 ,AWESOME combo they are.
Even though Daniel turned down the role of Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction. It wasn't for 'ol, Danny Boy, & it gave us, our man in Amsterdam, John Travolta Back. Tailor up a role, read a million scripts. I say just write one tailored especially for him & save the time of reading a million scripts. I love Depp, but this one needs to go to Daniel Day-Lewis.

Johnny Depp technically already worked with Depp. I know not as a leading man, And Robert Rodriguez Was the Director. Do the right thing & get Daniel Day-Lewis as his next lead actor!!
How about WOODY HARRELSON??? He would be awesome as a supporting character. He was so badass in Zombieland and Natural Born Killers.
As for those already in the list, I'd go with Elijah Wood. His cannibal in Sin City is truly one of the most haunting characters ever put to film.
Thank you for the opportunity to be a write-in.

Michael Shannon or Winona Ryder. He is just a powerhouse performer and she would play a good Tarantino 'femme fatale'.
Tom Hardy!!!!!
Mlla Kunis, Mila Kunis, or Mila Kunis!
Now DO IT!!!
Thank you.
