Scotty is always my american Idol, I like David and Kris they were great too, but Scotty is my Favorite and the best. I don't believe on that kind of voting unlimitted
I was able to watch Kris Allen's and David Cook's concert here in the Philippines. Both are great performers. But Kris Allen is my favorite Idol winner, followed by David Cook. I really appreciate singers who can sing and write their own songs. Among the post-Idol albums, Kris Allen's Thank You Camellia is by far the best I've ever heard. I have a signed copy of David Cook's This Loud Morning as well and the songs are also great. I hope Kris Allen win this thing, but if it's David Cook, that would be fine since I'm a fan as well. :D
Glad to see Kris and Cook neck and neck on this poll. They are both great guys and dedicated musicians and do this franchise proud. I love Kris's music, and love seeing him live even more, so I hope he pulls out a win here. But Cook is cool (as are his fans), so it's all good.
@Patty, ironically enough you know nothing about what you are talking about, Kris Allen has just finished his second leg of the Tour & been headlining three end of summer festivals only this week while writing & preparing for his Third album, while cook came from a mini tour in Asia & released a beautiful catchy new song (Lay Me Low), so seriously stop hating on artists because they are ahead of your favorite! spc. that no other fan of the two said one negative word about Scotty!
The three AI's Winners were all great but for me, Kris Allen gave me inspiration to enhance my skill in singing...i do also like the way David Cook sing the song. But when Kris sang it, i deeply understand and liked the song whatever genre it is...hope to have a tour again here in PHILIPPINES KRIS ALLEN...
Love Kris Allen ... and his second album is terrific. Gets better every time I listen to it, and radio stations not playing some of those songs are just missing a great opportunity

It's so funny yet nice to see most of Kris and David's fans are appreciative of each others' artists. Though, I have to admit I enjoy listening to DC's music (like his new single btw), I have to vote for Kris. He caught my attention during his stint in AI more than DC's. Love his covers on Ain't No Sunshine, She Works Hard for the Money and of course, Heartless. And his 2nd album, Thank You Camillia is way better than DC's. Sorry, Cooksters (is that right?), I'm a straight Krinja! Hahaha!

I've been a fan of Kris Allen from the getgo. I hope he wins this. Yep it's a meaningless poll and maybe it proves nothing other than the fact that Kris still has people who are crazy about him 4 years after he came off Idol.
To DRDRY..if you don't like someone why not just be a mature person and not say anything? I do not get why it's necessary to be nasty. You don't like someone, okay. You don't have to. But being nasty...just no reason other than to think you sound like a big shot behind a computer screen where no one sees you.
RE Callie - sorry you didn't get to meet Cook at a M&G, I didn't get to meet Kris at the concert I attended - I needed to purchase something at the Merch table in order to talk to him & I was tapped out.
However, I do know Cook has had many M&Gs and meetings with fans. You must have just attended one of the random concerts where he didn't do one. Besides, all artists meet with their fans in their own way. There's no right or wrong way.
I like both Kris & Cook and Scotty is great in concert too. All three are good representatives for American Idol.
Kris Allen is by far the best of the 3. I've seen him and David Cook in concert and David Cook did not do a meet & greet or any fan requests. Kris has a devoted fan base and he takes care of those people. He is a very talented song writer. I've bought his and David cooks second album and Kris' is FAR superior! David's sound all the same. Needless to say, Kris Allen should win this contest.

I guess since I have been following David Cook for the last 5 years and have read as many articles as I can and have made many comments, I guess then I am a fan/stalker in your mind. rascalete and nycarole are longtime stalker fans who obsess about Cook all over the net. They still haven't figured out they are backing a loser - an Idol winner who is back playing dive bars and can't get a decent gig to save his life. These old ladies are tough, lol, but sad and delusional to be at this for so long. It's not like Cook gives a hoot about them or any of the 100 fans he has left, lol. Give it up folks. Kris and Cook have no career, except for the lonely and delusional old women still proclaiming them the best after all these years, when the rest of the music world could care less about them. Cheers.
Cook sucks, Kris is a loser. Dub this the best of the no contract no career losers from Idol, and Cook wins hands down.
I have been a David Cook fan for over 5 years now and I still can't wait for his new music, concerts. His voice is so beautiful, he is able to sing any type of song and sound great. David also has a special stage presence that when he sings his emotions and feelings are in every lyric.. I love how creative and artistic David is and how he is able to compose his own music.
Where the heck is David Cook? Does he tour?I haven't heard anything about him other than him playing that random song on Idol this season.
How did Kris "have done nothing since he won?" he released a critically acclaimed second album and his single Live Like We're Dying went platinum. So yes, he actually deserves the spot IMO. Remember To Make you Feel My Love? Falling Slowly? Ain't No Sunshine? She Works Hard for the Money? Heartless???

David Cook is the best among those three. To be really honest, Kris and Scotty aren't even near David's level of performances. David's performances are so spot on. He owns every song and commands the stage every time he's performing. When it comes to creativity, and stage presence, David Cook is the best MALE Idol winner there is. Scotty's singing voice is so limited. I can't expect anything more than that. Having a big voice may be surprising at first, but it gets old. And for me, it has already gotten old. Kris Allen is far better than Scotty. But not better than David Cook, or even Adam Lambert. The only Kris Allen song I like is "No Boundaries". That's the only one. All of his performances are of the same quality. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't think Kris and Scotty doesn't even belong in this top 3. But I guess, Kelly and Carrie fans are overpowered by teenage girls who probably doesn't have a life.
AND THIS IS MY OPINION.
Kris Allen will always be my favorite Idol. Have seen him perform live five times so far and got to meet him also. Season 8 Idol judge Kara DioGuardi summed it up nicely : "If you can't feel a Kris Allen performance and he doesn't move you, there's something wrong with you."

I don't understand why Kris is getting all these votes,he's a nice guy but hasn't done anything since he won,you hardly ever hear about him.David cook is doing ok I guess.But Scotty is doing so well for himself,I think he is in my opinon is the #1 AI of all time.He's sweet,humble,love family,God,still going to university ,loves sports,out on his own tour selling to sold out crowds,.He is an all America young man.

Kris Allen is my One & Only. The best American Idol that ever graced the Idol Stage. David & Scotty are good .. But Kris is it for me. Love him. Fan forever!
