Should hospitals be forced to help a dying patient regardless of the situation?
No: EMTALA is a violation of the rights to liberty and property of hospitals and doctors. Repeal it.
Yes: EMTALA saves lives. If doctors didn't want to help everyone, they should not have become doctors. They'll make their money on the next person.
Yes & No: I feel hospitals should be required to help, but then have a system whereby the patient is either payroll deducted, their assets seized, or volunteer service ordered so that the recipient is in some way forced to pay the hospital back.
