What do you think about art and "altered states" (answer choices below)? This is my first poll so here goes….

1) I believe art relies on talent. Art can be done in any state, even if that state is seen by society as extreme or altered, the art is legitimate and valid.

2) An artist has the responsibility to society and him/herself to be clean and sober.

3) It’s okay for an artist to take drugs but only if these drugs are specifically approved by their provider for treating their condition or to correct an “imbalance” and not to get high.

4) Other (Please add your own answer below. It can make as much sense as you’d like. No grammar or syntax rules need apply here.)
