We were looking for a home and The Lord led us to the perfect one and my husband was able to move into it a month before we got married. He refinished the hardwood floors and got the house ready. We got married last year, he was 21, and I was 20. It's only through the grace of God that we were able to do this.

Agree with Jess.
My fiance owns the house. I moved in.

We bought our first home while I was stationed with 1Cav Div (Mech) at Fort Hood, Tx. Actually we didn't have it more then three and a half years before I was transferred to 2nd Inf Div (Forward), Korea. It's been a lesson in dealing with VA and real estate agents who can't seem to find what you want. The second time I went through six real estate people before I found one who knew exactly what I wanted -- a house with an unfinished basement. She drove straight to the house. It's exactly what I wanted! And none of the others could find a house with an unfinished basement. Ha! LOLAT # # #

This doesn't take into account the answer "I owned my own house, on my own, before I married my spouse". We still haven't bought one together but I choose the first answer as best fit.
