Wow, that's just awesome ........ I think even india should have 1 such law as if we don't apply such a law then its just impossible to make children visit their old parents. Its just for saying that education and values change the mindset of people but in reality if we dont apply it as a law then people dont at all have time for their parents. (sorry Ricarda I m not at all critisising you but this is what is my opinion.)

The people don't need laws, we need education about the value of the life, values of respect of the human itself.
The love and respect to the parents are the only reasons to take care of them, to visit them.
The laws are imposition, the education means to creat conscience.

Many of the parents are now having single girl child. In our great culture there is no place for girls parents, and boys parents keep on sucking the blood.
First we dont neeed any such law secondly if any such law comes it must clarify parents of both boy and girl should be taken equal care.
