First of all it takes great courage to single handedly take on the 'diabolical' NSA which is the most powerful security agency in the world, the gestapo & stasi are poodles in front of this 'Bulldog'. So kudos to Snowden. Anyone who has watched the movie 'Enemy of the State' starring will smith as a common man hounded by NSA agents who monitor his each and every move, will realise that it is a matter of individual privacy & liberty over American political interests.
A government does not need to snoop on half the planet to detect threat to its "National Security".
This will only result in Powerful people with hidden agendas using the information to further their own interests.

I have always wondered who are those people who take the effort of voting only to click on 'Can't say'? If they can't decide, then why do they even bother to vote?

It is a matter of investigation that what he has charged for leaking this information to the world. He betrayed his country by revealing mission critical information to all. His information will make more bad than good. terrorist outfits are more alert now as they know about US intelligence missions. We all are aware what US went thru in 2001, they are just trying to safeguard their interests.

The Indian government will have to make a choice. It can protect the man who rendered India and its people a great service and anger the US or it can show the world that it is a lapdog of US imperialism. A difficult choice!

IF THE American whistleblower Edward Snowden HAS DONE A GOOD JOB BY EXPOSING THE AMERICAN SPYING RING AGAINST MANY COUNTRIES,WHICH INCLUDES INDIA ALSO,THAN THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT IN RIGHT EARNEST SHOULD GRANT asylum IMMEDIATELY TO HIM ,WITHOUT BEING AFRAID OF THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT.
