A service station owner concerned about robberies wants a provincial law requiring pre-paid gas. Thoughts?

Great move; pay-before-you-pump is working in B.C., and will help deter crime here

Bad idea; such a system would be far too unwieldy, and I wouldn't know exactly how much I'd need

If gas bar owners want pre-paid transactions only, they can switch on their own accord

Not aware gas-and-dash robberies were so serious; I wonder if other anti-theft solutions could be considered
