You haven’t heard all the evidence in this case and you are not the jury, but we’re curious – do you think George Zimmerman is guilty or not guilty?

Coon, coon, black baboon. Brutal worthless theiving goon. Often high, thrives in jail. His welfare check is in the mail.

I have a question? If Travon had a cell phone and we all know he did. And if he was in fear of his safety, why didn't HE call the police for help, like Zimmerman did? If someone I felt was creepy following me, you can bet I would.

HE'S GUILTY, BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT, OF THE INTENTIONAL DEPRAVED SHOOTING RESULTING IN THE DEATH OF TRAVON MARTIN... All Other Considerations Irrelevant...

FACT: He possessed the weapon... a handgun..
FACT: He pursued then confronted the kid... despite being told by lawful authority not to...
FACT: He then used the weapon in his possession to shoot the unarmed kid dead...

THESE FACTS ARE IRREFUTABLE AND NOT CONTESTED...

CHASE SOMEONE DOWN AND SHOOT EM DEAD = MURDER... EVEN IN FLORIDA, STAND YOUR GROUND NOT A DEFENSE When You Are The Pursuer... No Matter How Slick A SnakeOil Salesman Tries To Blur The Facts...

I believe Zimmerman is innocent. Some people want to call him a wimp because he lost a fight. Some people want to say that he was looking to kill someone because he was carrying a gun. If you saw the video of Greta when she went to the site at night it is very dark and difficult to see anything. Zimmerman was not a big man and he was not a good fighter. He had no idea who he might encounter as he made his rounds or how close they might be to him when he did run into them. He might be able to make a call to the police and he might not be able to so it makes sense that he would feel more comfortable to carry a gun since it was legal to do so in Florida. There is also nothing wrong with him approaching a stranger and asking what they are doing and if they need some directions somewhere. These are no reasons for Martin to get aggressive and call him names or to attack him because he felt his space was invaded as a black man. With Martin on top of Zimmerman, the issue changes since Zimmerman must now feel that he can't get out from under Martin. Zimmerman was hit and words were exchanged. Fear had to be running high and with a gun on Zimmermans side, both men would be concerned. The fight should never have been started in the first place but Zimmerman had every right to defend himself once Martin was on top of him and that includes shooting him.

I do agree that this trial is very much about race. Frankly, it should be about justice and nothing else. I don't for a second believe that Zimmerman decided to just get up and go kill somebody on that fateful day. I do believe that he was the instigator of this situation and should bear some responsibility for that--even if it comes in the form of a suspended sentence. Don't even know if that's possible in a murder case. LOL! I figure that either one of two things will happen: (1) Zimmerman will learn from his mistake of playing the role of wanna-be cop who disregards instructions to back off, or (2) he will continue on with his stalking and profiling of people until he runs into trouble yet again. If Option 2 plays out, I hope nobody will be killed this time around. I am happy to report that I am not experiencing hate for black Americans. The same is true for white and Hispanic Americans. I've never been an Obama supporter. In addition to his crazy ideas, IMO, he simply doesn't have enough experience to lead the country. I do agree with the poster who said that Obama is one of the most divisive presidents ever. I'm not sure whether that is the case because we simply were as ready for a black president as we thought we were or if that's the case because Obama himself promotes much of the divisiveness. Obama talks a good game; but, from where I'm sitting, he hasn't done much (if anything at all) to even unite the members of congress--let alone the rest of America. IMO, he travels the country and promotes his brand of divisiveness. LOL at the poster who called Al and Jesse the "Justice Brothers." To me, Al Sharpton is another messy pot stirrer that I'm not wanting to see or hear anything from or about. I don't think that anybody (black leaders or otherwise) needs to speak to the blacks in Florida. Frankly, to even have it suggested is only irritating an already raw situation.

  • Gary Wolford - 11 years ago

"The case is race", as is the whole country regarding its politics. There is deep animosity, tension, race baiting, hatred, and, divisiveness across our "Great Union", continually promoted by the left wing media, "OBAMA", and racists, like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, ("The Justice Brothers"). This narcissist "OBAMA", has created such divisiveness, that it will take years to abate. Blame everybody that's white instead of taking your own life, your own responsibilities onto your own self. I never would, have ever thought, of even remotely stating this, prior to these last couple of years, but, I too, am beginning to dislike blacks, African Americans, negroes, or whatever else is politically correct, at this date of, Wednesday, July10th, 2013.

I want to THANK Fox News for always being FAIR AND BALANCED---it is very refreashing. I have listened some to CNN Headline News and they are SO Prejudiced concerning the Zimmerman Trial it is sickning----I am really surprised at some of them such as Jane Velez Mitchell and Nancy Grace (well she doesn't surprise me because SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING and IS ALWAYS RIGHT)---even the Dr. Drew show is the same way.
I do NOT think Zimmerman just decided he was going to kill a black man-----------I think it happened the way he said it did and I have a question: If Trevon was on top---then WHY did he just not jump up and run??? Ummmm. Also how did Zimmerman get the head wounds and fractured nose----maybe he punched himself????
People make up their mind after listening to the News----and really never hear the facts in the cases-------open your eyes people----some out there would love for this to start a racial war. Sick, Sick, Sick
THANK YOU GRETTA---------I always feel like I'm hearing the truth when I listen to FOX NEWS. :)

  • jw - 11 years ago

I believe that Zimmerman is guilty as sin. I also believe he's done plenty of lying... just as he did with his bail situation. After all, Travon is not here to give us his side of the story. This will most likely be yet another Florida case where a killer walks free and the murder victim and/or his family is left with no justice whatsoever. Zimmerman will never be held accountable for what he did, unless he keeps it up and murders somebody white. And, even then it will have to be a white person that somebody actually gives a flip about. I actually agree with the person who questioned Fox News' coverage of this trial. Some at Fox are positively salivating for Zimmerman to go free. On the Record has been more unbiased in coverage than some of the other Fox shows. For example, that Kimberly G. over on The Five has become simply nauseating to watch as she all but puts on a cheerleading get up and cheers outright for Zimmerman to completely get away with murder. I can't help but wonder what her reaction would have been had Travon lived and Zimmerman had been murdered. Even with the prosecution's case being presented as weakly as it has been, if Zimmerman had been the one murdered, I'm sure Kimberly would be spinning issues so that she could root for Travon to be put away for life. She is quite sickening as she sits there demanding black leaders come out and calm the people when Zimmerman is free to kill again. What nerve. When I tune in to watch On the Record and see Kimberly G. sitting there, I feel an urgent need to throw up. It's all I can do to get through her pontificating over on The Five. Nobody should have to listen to her biased crap twice in one day.

Praying for both families...this is indeed horrible circumstances and life is changed forever for all involved. I have watched approx 95% of trial everday since it began.
Here are a few concerns or comments:
    1. If I were an innocent and scared 17yr old I would have run as fast as I could HOME especially in a neighbothood I didn't live.
    2. The defense should be allowed to present phone text regarding Travon fighting (describing nearly exactly the mounting, etc he was aware of from previous fight) pictures, etc. The problem that was not mentioned on the news was that defense is not being given fair opportunity to bring in witnesses to verify Travon Martin's history or character as the state did regarding Zimmerman.
    3. Notice in the picture with Travon holding gun...no figernails...looks like the are bitten down way below end of fingers. Just sayin
    4. Seriously I don't understand how professionals could mishandle Travon's body and clothing so much and expect accuracte anything. Seems like medical examiner didn't take much care at all in trying to secure evidence. Who knows what evidence they was away.
    5. If Zimmerman had went out that night to simply kill someone that night he wouldn't have called the police in advance for help. Maybe operator should have keep him on the line until police arrived. Many waht if's could have recorded the actual events.
    6. The mayor should have NEVER allowed the tape to identify the screams to be heard by ALL family at one time. No police...no taping...Why would this have been done so unprofessionally in a "murder case"?
    7. Even to this day, why does the media continue to show the younger innocent boy picture of Travon rather than the later mature real picture that depicts him being of man size and attitude at the time of his unfortunate death.
    8. As a mother of having sons who have made poor choices and could have easily found themselves in like situations, I have personally turned them in myself in order to save their life from this very thing happening to them. I know its a hard pill to swallow but as a mother I am honest about my sons behaviors. I personally, if requesting a true fair trial, would know in my heart if all the evidence was presented even regarding to my own son. I believe myself, all parents, and these parents will have to answer to a much higher judge themselves if they have presented this case without doing so.
    9. My heart breaks for Travon's parents and pray the if they are Godly believers that forgiveness for this tradgic loss will prevail.
    10. My heart breaks for Zimmerman and wife also. Certainly he wishes a store run had not occured that night. And certainly I do not see evidence of intent with malice, hate, etc. And especially see no indication or evidence that he set out to end a life that night. Even in self-defense it will live in his mind and heart forever...a conviction not even the jury can give him...

    So very very sad indeed.

  • robert - 11 years ago

I saw bernie on greta. He is an idiot!!! The facts of the case are 100% for the defense. It was self defense. Zimmerman is no racist but Bernie might be a racist against latinos, Why does this fool come your show?

  • J.R. Johnston - 11 years ago

    1. everyone wants to say this case is not about race. well it is about race because Zimmerman profiled Travon. that makes this about race whether you want to admit it or not.

    2. When you don't obey the law (which Zimmerman did when he continued following Travon) and follow someone and grab a person, you are at the mercy of whatever happens to you. that means if you get beat up then that's on you. It doesn't give you the right to shoot someone
    3. If Martin was on top of Zimmerman holding his bloody mouth, and after he shot Martin why is there no traces of blood on Zimmerman or Martins hands. it doesn't add up.
    4. when is it a crime to walk through any neighborhood. dressed in any fashion? so now people need to go to the store and have on suits? some of you people sound really rediculous
    5. what does him having smoked pot before (so little that even if he got pulled over he couldn't be convicted of being under the influence while driving) have to do with anything? George Bush smoked weed and he was the president. does that make him a horrible person. does it tarnish his image to conservatives?
At the end of the day people need be aware that this country still is and always has been divided and not equally tried. Until people can not see color and treat others equally this country is going to border on a total racial divide, and it's a shame because this is supposed to be the greatest country in the world.

and to answer the question i do NOT believe the prosecutors have done a good job of proving without a reasonable doubt for Murder 2. i DO believe manslaughter has been proven from day one.
and i leave all you people with this..
what if a strange man is following you daughter or son around because of the way they look? what if he grabs them and questions them? how would you feel if you found out all of that, and then got the call your child was killed?

  • Buddy S - 11 years ago

Even though I don't think they have enough for 2nd or even manslaughter I still find it pathetic you cant be a young black man in 2013 and walk through a neighborhood without raising eyebrows! And his comment about "these punks" didnt help his case. Its a real shame and I think Zimmerman deserved a rap on the beak for profiling. I try putting myself in Travons shoes and I woulb be boiling mad by the time Zimmerman approached me, why should he have to explain himself? Whats next? The police are gonna go around asking for your papers?

  • Ann49 - 11 years ago

You do not call the cops to meet you somewhere and then commit murder, George is innocent. He was doing his job as a neighborhood watch person in an area that had a high crime rate. If people want to ruin their lives over this and riot then they will, but we should not bow down to the mob rule they are trying to achieve. What next?

  • Steve Poer - 11 years ago

Complete waste of money prosecuting this guy. He may have been a wanna be cop but Martin was a thug. He looked like a thug and his background that the prosecution has tried to keep out of evidence supports he was a thug. All his family is out for is money. The civil suit is next.

  • PapaBC - 11 years ago

    1. Obama should have kept him mouth shut in the case. It was a state case and it should have stayed there. How could Zimmerman ever get a fair trial after that?

Zimmerman might have been found guilty BUT the media and the President did things to harm his right to a fair trial. Both did what they could to make him look death penalty guilty.

From what I have heard Trayvon was the aggressor. If he have killed Zimmerman then what would the Obama have said?

  • Vicki W - 11 years ago

Zimmerman is guilty. I am very disappointed with Fox News' coverage of this trial. It is so evident that everyone at Fox believes Zimmerman is innocent and wants its viewers to believe it too. I'm very disappointed in Fox and it's making me wonder if I'm being misled with other issues Fox covers. I now see why some of my family members think I'm naive because I listen to Fox and I say it's because Fox is fair and balanced. I wonder if I'm being brain washed and not getting the big picture.

  • George Williams - 11 years ago

If George Zimmerman is not found innocent, then there is no reason for any of us to renew our concealed weapon permit, because you obviously can't use it for self defense, much less stand your ground. The vote is currently 95% not guilty which restores my faith in the American public. I just hope the jury is not as stupid as the 5% that think he is guilty.

  • Marcia Shum - 11 years ago

Trayvon Martin was armed with a block of concrete. If he had had it in his hand would it have been different?

  • James - 11 years ago

Yes while growing up as a child I may have been in a fight and received one or more bloody noses but as an adult that is an assault and the difference is that I have many responsibilities and can not take any punch. I can not run away and therefore would take any aggression against me life threatening.

  • Tread7 - 11 years ago

Zimmerman is not a perp !!!

  • Eli - 11 years ago

I f the jury comes back with anything less than not guilty because of being afraid it will be a sad day in the state of Florid. My family lived in Fla for over 40 yrs and i know Fla authorities don't take crap from anyone especially non whites and if anything goes down after the trial the perps should get something they will never forget !! we have gotten to mellow in letting this racial thing get out of hand and it should'n t have, there are more good and nice blacks or any color out there than there are bad, the trouble makers are all the ones on the dole, free be getters, get it all for nothing and not lifting a finger, we let them get away with to much, they need to be put in their place and the leftest government has to keep their nose out of the states business and trying to divide the populas, Obamas motto though he does not state it is to divide and conquer leaving our country a shit hole.
I do feel kinda bad for the kids father, he was more truthfull than his wife, she is a down right liar, her baby could'nt be wrong right, why was he trying to buy a gun, if he did it may have been George Zimmerman lying on the ground dead............

  • rere - 11 years ago

It will be a very sad day if George Zimmerman is found guilty. Listening to practically the entire trial there is no way on earth that Mr. Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin. Mr. Zimmerman was acting in self defense.

  • Finis Kingery - 11 years ago

Car rying a gun likely saved Zimmermans LIFE1111

  • Tina Reynolds - 11 years ago

I didn't know much about this case before it went to trial. I assumed they had some substantial evidence in order to make an arrest. Boy was I wrong. The prosecution has not proven there case. The only thing they have done is make it so Zimmerman doesn't have to testify. I realize we haven't seen/heard all the evidence but its the defense turn so I can't imagine they would provide something to damage the case. I would be shocked if the verdict is guilty.

  • Tammy B - 11 years ago

From the very beginning the police felt that Zimmerman acted in self defense until the governor of FL and Sharpton got involved. Al Sharptons main goal is to make everything about race and he's NEVER ever been right. The evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of the defense. If Zimmerman is found guilty of any murder/manslaughter charge, the verdict would be politically driven. Trayvon unfortunately caused his own death. Bottom line is, if the tables were turned and the deceased was Zimmerman, we would not hear anything about this case.

  • jaynie - 11 years ago

I think he's guilty. He killed a kid. It wasnt Martin's fault that Zimmerman lost the fist fight. It shows me Zimmerman is a whimp !

  • Kim - 11 years ago

He brought a gun he followed this kid .Trayvon can't tell us if he was in fear for his life because he's dead. Zimmerman knew the police were on the way. His injuries weren't even bad. I normally hate the race card but would this have happened if Trayvon were a white kid? The answer is most likely not. At the least he should be manslaughter he may have been scared but he was looking for trouble carrying a gun. We only have his word he was in fear of his life what about the kid. Oh Woopie he had pot in his system demonizing the victim doesn't make murder right. Also I am not a liberal as conservative as they come and I see murder here.

  • Eli - 11 years ago

Commentors left out one major point beyond the phoney Rev'S Al Sharpton and Jackkkkkkson, Dictator Obama and NOAG (no nothing attorney general) Eric Holder also weighed in their diseased 2 cents also, we all new where this was going, just another way for the liberals and their coat tail media followers to garnish more support for the real racists, all down thru history it's been the liberals that are the racists. This trial should never have come up and i am willing to bet that the prosecuter knew this and he help blow the case, it was the worst case of prosecuting i have ever wittnessed with the exception of the JUICE, if the glove does'nt fit you must equit. I hope Zimmerman sues everyone involved that lied to set him up including the ugly names above and the midia who later had to recant, also the heavy set black gal that lied thru her teeth for the prosecution, hell, a two yr old child could see she was totally rehersed.
Now if we can get Obama and Holder on trial for treason, theft and murder from gun running we would we off to a good start..God bless America, comeone has to..

  • RJ - 11 years ago

This trial was politically motivated to paint gun owners as nothing but murderers......They need an excuse to TRY and disarm us. what better way for the rich to get slave labor than to disarm the people they intend to enslave.

  • Laurie - 11 years ago

Let's hope the jury doesn't let the threats from the "real" racists scare them. They may feel that they have to decide on manslaughter in order to avoid riots by the racists who have already threatened a certain race if Zimmerman is found not guilty. Also they may fear for their own families. That would be outragious...if this case was decided according to race, politics and fear!

  • Jim - 11 years ago

I wonder if these jurors realize they will probably have to go into hiding, along with Zimmerman who they've just acquitted, and his lawyers...... sad, very very sad

  • stephen - 11 years ago

it has been cut and dried from the beginning- zimmerman is innocent and should never have been in this courtroom fiasco.

  • Mike - 11 years ago

The media has turned this into a racial "thing." I don't think the prosecutor has presented a case that can withstand "reasonable doubt".

  • Jim - 11 years ago

According to a “confidential report” prepared by the Sanford Police Department, Zimmerman, 28, willingly submitted to a computer voice stress analyzer (CVSA) “truth verification” on February 27. Investigators concluded that he “has told substantially the complete truth in regards to this examination.”

Zimmerman, the report noted, “was classified as No Deception Indicated (NDI).”

  • Joe Hardy III - 11 years ago

The procecution could not nearly prove that Zimmerman was guilty. This probably would not even be a trail if not for the President voicing his opinion in something that he should stay out of. Then the Justice Department and Eric Holder pushing this thing so hard that they had to get a procecutor out of Jacksonville. And all of the help from the media showing the photo of 17year old Trevons taken when he was 13 years old.

  • Gary Rose - 11 years ago

Doctor Vincent Di Maio the Frorensic Pathologist was very impressive. I would like to see the Animation & texting, pic''s regarding fights & purchasing & selling a gun goes into evidence tomorrow morning. That just shows Martins character.

  • James A. Webster - 11 years ago

If Zimmerman is found guilty, it will be for political reasons and not for judicial reasons.

  • Rick - 11 years ago

I believe George Zimmerman is innocent, not just not guilty or acquitted. I also believe that it might be too much to ask 6 people to have to shoulder the burden of keeping the peace. The fear factor of how the community will react if he is found not guilty might cause an injustice to occur. My real comment is why do we continue to put up with being bullied by certain facets of society and coerced in to doing what they want under threat of violence?

  • Jim - 11 years ago

Sheriff meets with pastors to brace for Zimmerman verdict...... sad, very very sad

  • Teresa - 11 years ago

I don't know what trial the 6% that says he is guilty but its DEFINATLY not the one I am watching.....
George Zimmerman is innocent. If he is found guilty we are all in trouble in this country!

  • Bobby - 11 years ago

Following someone isn't assault. Trayvon had no grounds to physically attack anybody. Zimmerman was on his back and could not get away.

  • KENNETH - 11 years ago

As a George Zimmerman did not start this. He was just trying to find out why this black male was roaming

around the neighborhood. All Trevon had to do was just be nice and answer his questions without going

nuts. Apparently he was up to something and got caught.

  • Linda Atkins - 11 years ago

Travon didn't owe Zimmerman an explanation...He was heading back to his Dad's house.
Zimmerman needs a lie detector test. He isn't telling the truth.
He IS a wanna be cop. This boy wasn't doing anything wrong. Zimmerman should have backed off like the Dispatcher told him to do.And stop following Travon. Zimmerman is GUILTY OF MURDER!

  • Mona KIng - 11 years ago

The far left media has turned this into a racial frenzy. Zimmerman has been railroad and he will be exonerated if there is one bit of justice left in this leftist country. I noticed that most of the liberals on TV think Zimmerman should be found guilty of at least manslaughter and conservatives think he should be found innocent of all charges. If you don't think it's racial wait and see the blacks riot when the not guilty verdict comes in. Watts will look like a walk in the park.

  • Patti Acero - 11 years ago

What a waste of time and tax payers money never should have gone to trial !!!!

  • KENNETH EDWARDS - 11 years ago

As a George Zimmerman did not start this. He was just trying to find out why this black male was roaming

around the neighborhood. All Trevon had to do was just be nice and answer his questions without going

  • combo - 11 years ago

All of this is nothing more than some elected officials in Florida trying to be "politically correct"!

  • Phyllis Berger - 11 years ago

So far, it appears that the balance of George Zimmerman's testimony, procurred through the interviews put into evidence, have been supported by the physical evidence and by witnesses that have testified. I don't see how the prosecution can get past any reasonable doubt that it was self-defense. But, hey, we were wrong about OJ.....

  • john - 11 years ago

This should have never gone to trial...the media and Al Sharpton turned this into a racial thing........It is a tragedy .....

  • John - 11 years ago

There's a reason Law Enforcement didn't want to file this case against Zimmerman. That's because they KNEW they didn't have a case to begin with! You can't make evidence out of nothing.

  • Julie R - 11 years ago

Beyond a reasonable doubt is a high burden. The State has not come close to meeting it for 2nd degree murder.
