In other countries where consumption of alcohol on public is allowed the crime or alcohol abuse rates are not higher rather the opposite. We are responsible citizens and should be allowed to make these decisions ourselves within a society framework of course. It would be good for the economy reduce illegal activity and free police and bylaw enforcement officers to do more important work. It would also boost the reputation of the city.
