I live in Wausau and work a couple blocks from this mall. I've eaten at Casual Joe's. That being said I think they're going to fail.
The food is decent enough but a brat "meal" with curds runs you about $8+. That's INSANE pricing (especially considering they have free rent for a year). This is an area where you can get get a brat for $1.50. The brat I ordered had carmelized onions and shredded pork on it. Okay.... not enough to charge that much for.
Also their employees are weak. I had to point out to the kid that there were styrofoam containers already right next to him. I was in a cast at the time and had to ask for a bag to carry my to-go order. I dropped my soda when she handed it to me. Almost didn't get another one but she refilled it and didn't even notice that the cup was cracked.
I hope they get the glitches ironed out but they need to review their pricing. Oh and I went before I saw the show and when I was talking to a co-worker about the problems they face a woman overheard me and stuck up for them kindly but firmly. Now that I saw the show I know that woman was the mother of one of the female owner. Interesting.
