What regnal name should Prince Charles adopt?
George VII (George has been common in the last 300 years, but there's nothing wrong with continuity. Also George is the regnal name of his grandfather.)
Philip I (There was a Philip who married Mary I and legally shared her titles, but he isn't listed on the official website of the monarchy. Philip is also the name of his father.)
Arthur I (As far as I can tell, the name Arthur has never actually been used for an English king before, and certainly not in the last thousand years.)
Charles III (The first two Kings Charles had the misfortune of book-ending the interregnum, with the first being beheaded. But that was a while ago, and Charles is the name by which we know him.)
