We could weed out a lot of stupid people by removing all of the warning labels and let nature take its natural course.

what happened to common sense .When I was had young children years ago we didn't have the state in involved in the what we fed our children and left it up to the parents experience and common sense sense with feeding their own children.

You have to be cautious just like in anything else. When my son was a toddler, he reached up and grabbed an ice cube that had fallen from the fridge dispenser before I could get to it or him. He took off running, lodging the cube in his throat and fell out turning blue. I managed to get the cube to go down and bring back him around. You just never know. Kids choke on lots of things, like toys, even water! FYI, twizzlers and jolly ranchers choke ME. I'm 54. Just be aware. And fast on your feet!

No, common Sense Just Needs To Become More Common Like It Used To Be. Parents Need To Be Parents & Teach Their Children, Chew, Swallow, Then Speak!!! I'm 33 & Can Still Manage To Choke On My Own Saliva, Do I Need A Personal Warning Label?!?!

To Nance to start; can't always stop Childers from swallowing the food whole imaging it's not a matter of them not chewing, it's the harder foods that in which children are breathing while they are eating(you gonna tell your kids not to breathe while they eat) is when chocking accurs because at the time of swalloing everyone at some point breaths in an the food get caught in the wind pipe. Toys you may as well start telling all kids not to put things in their mouths an be watching them at all times because if you do they will never put anything in there mouth(IM a parent of a 6ur old an 7mth old),foods should have a label for children. Like a jaw breaker IM sure there's someone who's never had one an would give a kid one or not be thinking, more or less for the person(s) who don't think.

SURE THERE SHOULD BE CHOKING WARNINGS ON FOOD...JUST LIKE THERE SHOULD BE "DO NOT DRINK" SIGNS ON GAS PUMPS!

if you are not going to watch your children while they eat, or cut their food for them into edible bite sizes for their tiny mouths, that is your fault and if you are an adult and by now have not learned how to chew your food then again if you choke it is your fault. chew slowly and thoroughly before swallowing and accidents are less likely to occur
