I listen to Gregor the most because of the time, but I enjoy Lowetide whenever I get a chance to listen.

I think Nielson and Fraser are pretty insightful but they spend all their time doing goofy things to try to make people laugh and not enough actual sports talk. I wish they would reduce the goofball shtick by half and replace it with analysis and discussion related to edmonton sports teams .

Will Fraser had a lot of interesting insights back when he was involved in sports radio shows. I found him one of the best to listen to. But now he is on a morning show where there is little in the way of depth or thought, it is more about entertainment, which is fine too, but won't win you many of these polls!

Finally edmonton fans I have faith in you. Dan Tencer is by far the worst sports talk show guy I have ever heard. He changes his opinions depending on how the wind blows. I get that being employed by the oilers and still finding the positives can be difficult but talking about a last place team like they are perennial stanley cup contenders doesnt sit well with me personally. Gregor is by far the best.

Definitely agree with the poll results. Stauffer and Gregor are the two best. It was tough for me to choose between the two. Both guys know all sports really well. Bob is an encyclopedia and Gregor has great insight. I chose Gregor because I really like the variety of guests he gets on his show. All the work he does for charity is great too. It doesn't have anything to do with his broadcasting ability but it definitely makes him more likeable. Maybe if Bob wasn't exclusively Oilers for the most part I would have voted for him. That said, he does a great job on Oilers Now and I wouldn't want anyone else doing that show, including Gregor. So like I said it was tough to choose.

Gregor is the best all around host. I would love to see Strudwick move to the noon spot on 1260 and Spector can move out and continue writing instead.

Allan Mitchell is easily my favourite. He is not full of himself like so many other hosts. Oh and he is an exceptional writer. That said the worst in my mind is Spector he has no idea what he is talking about half the time.

Not a fan of Tencer. But like Mitchell, Stauffer, Gregor, and Strudwick. LOVE sports radio. Also under rated is Corey Graham, he`s very professional

Gregor is pretty good too, but for me, he says "you know" every 30 seconds. I've often that would be a fun drinking game. Nah, everyone would be hammered within the hour:)

Tencer is just ok. Far from good enough to justify the way he treats people. He also lost all favour with the fans when he basically lobbied on air for the downtown arena and anything else on the Katz agenda. Tencer also works for Katz, and this has no credibility as a broadcaster. Tencer also scored his gf, a oilers puck (vicarious much) a high profile gig in radio. The guys too young and too shady.

Sad that Allen Mitchell had to manipulate poll by begging people to vote for him. On a hockey site Stauffer should win...His show is all hockey. Best host, and most well-rounded is Gregor. He has a sports show that talks every sport, and he can talk them all. I find he is the best interviewer by far. He and Stauffer are the two best, but IMO Gregor is the best sports host. Bob is hockey.

For such a popular radio show Dan Tencer is not getting very many votes. Not really a surprise. Stauffer is the most knowledgable and informed. Gregor is the best radio personality and Strudwick has the most inside the dressing room info which is really interesting.

I have a real hard time listening to CHED from 6-9 pm. That is a terrible time if you have kids. I wish they would put a show up against 1260 in that 9-12 am evening slot. As far as Jason Strudwick's show, I wish he would spend 90% of his time talking Oiler hockey instead of 90% of his time joking with Majeau. If CHED even aired a repeat of Oiler lunch around that night slot, they would own it. Bob Stauffer is definitely the best in the City. Vancouver does sports talk radio seven days a week, 360 days a year and we have far more interested fans here. I would like to see at least one more nigh time sports show in Edmonton for sure. Staples maybe???

Dean Millard and Guy Flaming would have a better rating if they talked more Oilers prospects. Glad Dan Tencer is moving on. Stauffer and Gregor are the two best, but i really like the two new shows from Allan Mitchell and Strudwick. I can see a time when Mitchell and Strudwick past Gregor. Not a fan of Spector. Spector is also hurting the Gregor show in my opinon. Strudwick will be great when the Oilers start up again. He’s played the game.
