Here's the thing: from the perspective of a viewer who has never read the book or series, it's a fantastic, well-made film. But from the perspective of the readers and fans of the Percy Jackson series(me!), it's just not a very good representation of the book. ESPECIALLY the end part(I won't give it away!) It's just so far from the actual book, that you can hardly call it the Sea of Monsters. But it was a good movie, I will say that. I was just majorly disappointed about the movie version compared to the book. :(
