Do you believe Sun City should provide funding for its own transportation service?

The snow removal service the Village provides Del Webb residents is horrible. The plows are “skimming the surface” leaving the streets continuously snow covered and dangerous for driving and walking. Del Webb with the number of residents should be at the top and possibly the first of the communities to be plowed, salted, and cleared of snow. Del Webb doesn’t have the traffic flow as other communities - possibly within Huntley a little TLC should be provided to make the streets safe and clear. Salting is next to none in Del Webb - sanding seems to be the Village preference. I’ve collected enough sand in my garage to build a sand castle. This has been an extreme difficult winter with the temperature fluctuation however the streets are a sloppy mess the same as in previous years with a milder winter. Streets are continuously snow covered for days upon days after a snowfall. Fire Hydrants are buried

I have lived in Sun City Del Webb for approximately 8 years after living in Chicago for about 30 years.
The one thing I have noticed about snow removal in Huntley vs. Chicago is that with each year that
goes by it feels like I'm back in Chicago, and I don't mean that in a nice way. Lately I feel that I should
put a couple of chair at the end of my driveway in order to keep from being plowed back in with snow
from the Huntley snow removal trucks. The majority of the residents have to pay for the service of having
their snow removed from their driveway, but without fail the Huntley drivers love to come along and plow
us back in. At the beginning of January the drivers must have plowed at least 1 to 1 1/2 feet back onto
by driveway and by morning it was one big solid block of ice. We have many health issues and if we have
and emergency we are in big trouble because in order to get our vehicle out or and emergency vehicle onto the driveway you would have to dig your way first and then it might be too late. Does the Village of Huntley want to get sued? Why don't the supervisors drive around to see the mess their drivers leave our driveways in and why doesn't the Village Manager take a more active interest in the quality of service it is providing to the residents. I have stopped several snow removal drivers and asked them to please be more considerate when plowing in Sun City because of our health issues, which fall on deaf ears.

I have lived here for thirteen years and each year snow plowing has gotten worse in Sun City Del Webb.
The worst part of snow plowing is that when my neighbors and I clear the end of our driveway, they
deliberately come back a few minutes later and push the snow back.
This year, I have notices that our side streets were not clear in a timing matter and not clear very well.
