How clear is the SRE (2000) Guidance?
Very clear- DfE clearly originally meant in 2000 no one sexual orientation should be promoted above another. (i.e. all sexual orientations are equal and valid and deserve equal time in the curriculum) just as they are claiming that's want they meant in today in 2013
Sort of clear- DfE clearly meant don't try and turn the kids gay or straight (if that were even possible!?)- let them work it out for themselves.
Unclear- what does "promote sexual orientation" even mean?!
Very Unclear- DfE obviously originally meant do not promote "homosexuality" but are now claiming they didn't mean that at all.
