A baseball complex such as this, with it's family centric activities will be a big plus for Fredericksburg. Sounds like the city can use the parking and stadium for other events as well. Taxing hotels and food sales puts some of the added costs back on the guests that travel to participate in the tournaments and camps, and so this also is fair in that the local residents don't have to underwrite all the costs. There are other examples of successful endeavors such as Cal Ripken's stadium and camp complex in Aberdeen, MD. I say get the best deal possible for the area and go for it!
