The Hacker Scouts made an honest mistake; they should re-brand and get back to the important work.
The Boy Scouts of America shouldn't be able to trademark "scouts;" let's fight this all the way!
The Boy Scouts of America are in the right, but should compromise; think about the children!
The Hacker Scouts knew they were co-opting the BSA's brand. Give it up and move on.
