Of course at McDonalds 1977-1978 in Burbank, Ca. $2.65 an hour! It was a fun time high school kids making enough to put to put gas in the car. We were all kids. Ii's very different now with older people working there, you rarely see kids.

I too worked at McDonalds from 1984 to 1986. (Almost 2 years). I started at 3.35 per hour. (The minimum wage then). I worked up to 3.95 per hour by the time I left. Of course I was just a kid in high school.

I worked at McDonalds from 1984 to 1990 in the LA Hollywood area, this was my first job. if my memory serves me correctly the pay back then was $3.65 per hour. Of course that was Coporate McDonalds. Since then on occassion i have worked for several francise oweners and it does not compare to corporate.
