Art should be authentic and depict the communication it is intended to portray. It is because of this I voted DIXON. Pencil art is still relevant to date. The concept is original. The mechanical nature of computer gymnastics makes a mockery of Africanness. ‘Baba Risi’ presupposes some Yoruba cultural male parent, maybe educated or illiterate, as a person does not have to be an illiterate to be culturally and customarily inclined. Indeed, the Dixon version looks a lot like Mr. Jide Kosoko, which makes it even more authentic as coming from a Yoruba genre. Thank you.

Its sad to read that people see these works and don't have a clue what the artist went through to achieve that stage of perfection and call them CHILDISH and KIDDISH,This country will slowly move forward with such slow minds.. No artist in this world can achieve what Ekene and Oziren achieved without being a good fine artist or pencil illustrator. They have simply passed the stage of pencils and have given us a professional look of what Baba Risi should look like in a comic strip or Graphic novel. Computers don't draw themselves. artists make d computers draw. That's why its called a Character build up. Thumbs Up to all the artists here. welldone.

Dixon oludolapo’s drawing is just too marvelous.I am amazed at how he used his pencil to create realistic effects like the shadow etc.His pencil work is just excellent.I have decided that if he wins, i will commission him for a copy of the drawing for N200,000.Ekene’s picture is also good, but i think we should appreciate dixon more, because he didnt use a computer software to get his work done.Overall, i think all the artists have really tried.

I can only recorgnise only one image that depicts 'baba risi' .that is the image of Dixon Oludolapo. It looks really, really creative. My vote goes to Dixon. The first one looks like baba iyabo aka Obj. The computer effect on the second and third is Jst too conputerised. Thumbs up DIxon.I can pay for your art work.call me on 08060437766.

I will like to agree wit oluwapelumi's comment, the other 2 does not look real but that of Dickson's own looks so real and artistic and this is what we are talking about.I think I have a little idea about art works and I know a gud one if I see it.so to Dickson, keep the good work going, more greese to your elbow.

I respect Temilola Adesina and Dixon Oludolapo's works because they are pure artistic works, pure pencil and paper. Most especially Dixon's work bcos his pencil work was great, added much effect wit his pencil. Dnt really appreciate d oda 2 cos they are computer works. To me, Oziren is out of it cos it dosent look yoruba at all

the first illustrator picture or drawing looks like obasanjo
the second one looks somehow kiddish
while the third one is actually too playful and cartoonish
then the fourth one is actually looking giving out a picture of baba risi"s although it looks like jide kosoko in tribal marks it will be my best option for baba risi
