A $10 per hour is a bench mark but we can have a minimum wage equitable base on age categorization,
15 - 18 yrs of age - $6.50 per hour (good incentive for schooling kids to work as casuals and experience in work environment.
19 - 21 yrs of age - $8.00 per hour (good incentive for Uni students to help pay their expenses on a casual basis)
22 yrs of age and above - $10.00 per hour for fulltime employment, $12.50 per hour for casual/parttime. Reason being, casual/parttime does not enjoy perks such as annual leave, bonuses etc.
This is based on a 40 hr working week.
