In Tuesday's municipal elections, residents voted for an all-male council in St. John's, while Branch chose all females. Thoughts?

I think it's important to have a mix of men and women on council, so that different views are equally represented.

I can't believe there's not a single woman on St. John's council. We need to encourage more strong female candidates to run in the next election.

Bravo to Branch! Women should definitely be running the show.

Gender aside, the public chose who they thought were the best candidates, and that's all that really matters.
