The fall food fishery - which is shorter than the one held in the summer - closed on Sunday, even though there were several days of bad weather. Thoughts?

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans should extend this year's fall food fishery.

You can't control the weather, so everyone should be happy with what they were able to catch during that timeframe.

Having such a short window means people are taking more risks by going out in bad weather. If the food fishery was for a longer period of time, people wouldn't be taking these risks.

I caught my fish, so I'm happy.
