Do you like the current wild card format in the MLB playoffs?

To me, the postseason is about drama, its about comebacks, one and done just doesn't accomplish any of that. If the MLB needs 162 games to find the best 10 teams for the postseason, they can at least do a three game series to find the next round of best teams.

I think it should be 2 out of three series. on any given day teams have a rotten game at least make it more competative and and give teams a chance to right the ship.Could be more exciting.

Unlike football or even basketball and hockey, baseball plays a prodigious 162 games to figure out who the best teams are. 162 games should be more than enough to determine that. One Hundred and Sixty Two!! But they seem to feel them need to do this wild card thing? It keeps the final weeks of the season more interesting they think by having more teams in playoff contention but to me does not reflect the the quintessential essence of sport: YOU HAVE TO WIN SOMETHING TO ADVANCE! Let the four division WINNERS battle it out and leave the wild cards for the other leagues.
At least MLB hasn't yet let teams into the playoffs with losing records (in a non strike year) - an embarrassment the NBA and NHL suffers annually.
