How Do You Plan to Celebrate Pizza Month 2013?
I have it organized down to a T; I know exactly which pizzerias I’m visiting for which meals on which days and what I’m ordering from each one of them, and essentially the rest of my life is taking a backseat to pizza until November.
By doing what I do best – turning out pies! Maybe I’ll play up some early fall produce, or maybe I’ll go with my topping favorites, but this month is going to see some heavy oven use from me.
One night, all out, Piemageddon. I’m going to do this thing right – order in like five pies from my favorite joint, queue up the movie marathon, cold beer in the fridge, and then I will DEMOLISH that sh*t.
Oh you know, a little pizza outreach, bring the pie to the masses. Next time someone asks me for spare change? BOOM, they get pizza. My kid wants a birthday present? PIZZA. It’s all about community.
I thought I’d let my inner artist out. We’re talking some pie painting (think finger painting except…pizza). I’m also envisioning a pizza installation, or pie performance art; you know, whatever strikes a note with my cheesy muse.
Ditto that art geek answer, except I prefer to express myself with words; blog up a storm, or orate an epic tale of pie prose – romance, danger, and the search for the perfect crust.
