Choo, hands down. How many times did this guy find a way to get on base? He was so clutch for us. I truly hope The Reds find a way to bring him back for the 2014 season.

Jay Bruce took a few more steps towards becoming an excellent hitter this year. He looks much better at the plate and has cut down on the "busyness" that he exhibited at the plate prior to this year. He provides a spark more often than not. He is already outstanding in right field tracking down nearly everything that comes his way.
He continues to take significant steps each year towards becoming a future hall of famer. Here's to 2014 and seeing what steps Jay takes in the offseason. Can't wait.
Chooooooooooo! It'd be a crime to let him get away, he's one of the top lead-off players in the league.

Choooooooooo! He was the most consistent, adapted well to playing center field, and took several back/arm/leg bullets for the team with HBPs.

Jay Bruce was the MVP this year in my opinion because not only did he reach 100 RBIs for the first time this year and have fewer slumps on offense, but his defense in RF was truly stellar and deserving of a GG. Very impressed with his improvement!
Shin-Soo Choo is my vote for MVP of position players. I think he was the most consistent player all of the 2013 season. He had the great on base percentage for lead-off, 107 runs, took a beating with HBP, had power in the lead-off, and I hope he may return in 2014.
