Should the Colts honor Peyton Manning the same night they play the Broncos?

The Colts have a tradition of honoring former, but still active, Colts players the first time their new team competes at Lucas Oil Stadium. To ignore Peyton would be an insult to him. Face it, the Colts are who they are right now. Agree with the Irsay or not, we must rally around the team we have now. GO COLTS!

I agree with Flatts.......Peyton didn't deserve that and I surely want the score to reflect what a terrible decision the Colts made in kicking him out .....it was just unthinkable!!!! But being the man he is, Peyton is always positive, even now with the Colts....GO BRONCOS!!!!

Irsay kicks Peyton to the curb and now wants to honor him???? Don't fall for it Peyton, set a record againt the Colts!

Maybe it's a Colts attempt to get "in his head" and soften him up before the big game.
I didn't realize how much of a PM#18 fan I was until his injury and until it was official he was leaving. Still a die-hard Colts fan, and certainly an AL#12 fan. I'll be cheering loud and proud for the Colts when Denver comes to town!

Peyton should and will get a warm reception, but honor him? He was good for indy while he was here and is probably still contributing in some way, but he works for the BRONCOS. He made his life and money while he was here but has moved on, so should we.

Honoring Peyton is a good idea but NOT on a day he is here to win a football game for the team he now works for!!!!!!! Have a honor program when he comes to Indy for that purpose only and his fans can come.

The Colts will certainly honor Manning for all he did for the city and the Colts. But honor him here after he retires—NOT on a night where he is the opponent! He should get a warm reception, then he should hear overwhelming crowd noise every time he's on the field and any time he is sacked. Fans who know Manning certainly understand he will show no mercy against ANY opponent. It's just a football game. Cheer your ass off for your HOME team. Manning won't play here again until a potential playoff rematch.

Peyton is a great player and a great person. For all he has accomplished while in Indianapolis, on and off the field, he deserves to be honored. I love Luck too, but it was hard to get used to Peyton not being on our team. But, it is a fact, and we have to go on supporting our team. I will tell you, first I want the Colts to win, and second the Broncos... We all love Peyton!

Love Luck but dumping Manning was a bad course for the Colts. Honoring him after dumping him is just FALSE! I refuse to be manipulated for profit!
